BREEAM UK New Construction version 7 is the new version of the standard. The manual covers the well-known BREEAM areas of management, health and wellbeing, energy, transport, water, materials, waste, land use and ecology, pollution and innovation, but Version 7 also sees changes to the structure and requirements of a number of assessment issues.
For example, the energy section is now split into regulated energy and carbon performance vs. prediction of operational energy and carbon. Additional issues are included covering flexible demand response and installed controls.
